2026 Pistons and Props Airshow

Celebrating aviation and classic vehicles, Pistons & Props brings together historic aircraft, stunning cars, and hands-on experiences for all ages. Founded in 2024, the event offers a weekend of education, history, and excitement. Pistons & Props is hosted by Propel Forward Inc., a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring youth through STEAM and aviation education and supporting local veterans and the broader community!Last year we had Almost 800 Veterans attend our Vets Night and more throughout the rest of the event.  This year we are anticipating an even larger turnout as we welcome the Air Force F35 Lightening II demo team! Our goal is ambitious: to create the largest Veterans Resource Fair in the State of Wisconsin, bringing together organizations, agencies, businesses, and service providers that are committed to supporting veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and caregivers. We are also marketing heavily to Northern IL and expect a large contingent of IL Veterans to attend.

The Pistons and Props Airshow attract thousands of attendees from across the region, providing a unique opportunity to connect with veterans and their families in a highly visible and engaging environment. By participating, your organization will have the opportunity to:

* Showcase programs, services, and resources available to veterans

* Connect directly with veterans, military families, and community members

* Build partnerships with other veteran-serving organizations

* Increase awareness of your mission and impact

* Be part of a statewide effort to strengthen support networks for those who have served

We are seeking participation from:

* Veteran service organizations

* Government agencies

* Healthcare providers

* Mental health and wellness organizations

* Employment and workforce development programs

* Educational institutions

* Housing and financial assistance providers

* Nonprofit organizations

* Military support groups

* Community resource organizations

* Veteran-owned businesses

Veteran supporting agencies are invited to participate at no cost, however there’s also ample space that for profit Veteran owned businesses and supporting businesses can apply as a vendor for a very reasonable fee (currently $175 for a 10x10 space for the weekend).

Together, we can create a one-stop destination where veterans can discover resources, build connections, and access the support they deserve in a fun and engaging environment. I would also appreciate your help spreading the word to as many Veteran Organizations and businesses as possible!
