Training for certification as a Mental Health First Aider! Learn to be there for the difficult conversations. Help others find their way. Self-care skills too!

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to support others (and yourself). Learn how to have conversations about mental health,emotions, or feeling suicidal so you can guide others to well-being. Plus skills for self-care, so you have the resources for your own emotions.
Join our upcoming class July 30-31, 2026, 9:00a – 3:15p at Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs offices, 2135 Rimrock Rd, Madison, WI 53713 This class is offered over two half-days. Ending time each day may be as early as 2:00pm
FREE to veterans and immediate family members - sponsored by a grant from WI Department of Veterans Affairs!
$50 for all others.
