Save the date for Small Business Academy 2026 Join us during National Small Business Week at the Lieutenant Governor’s Small Business Academy, a free event for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs.

This year's academy, scheduled for May 5-8, offers workshops on financing, legal and regulatory issues, information technology, small business certifications, market identification, and sales opportunities, as well as advice from successful business owners. 

Flexible scheduling: You choose the virtual and in-person sessions that meet your needs.
 
May 5-7: 8 a.m.-noon

May 8: 8 a.m.-noon
In-person sessions
Hosted by partner organizations at the following locations across the state:
Beloit, Eau Claire, Green Bay, La Crosse, Lac Du Flambeau, Milwaukee Downtown and Milwaukee South, Madison, Marshfield, and St. Croix.
